A perfect birthday gift for mom...a family session!
I was sought out by her husband. He didn't really know what time of day or where he wanted the shoot, but he did know he wanted a surprise family session as a birthday gift for his wife. I threw out some locations and he went with using my inside and outside studios. He picked two backdrops that he thought she would like. I steamed them and had them hanging for her to view. I also wrote out a gift certificate so he had a physical object to give her as a gift. All the thought he put into this was adorable. He really wanted the session to be perfect for her.
The day of the session arrived and I let her look through all the backdrops and she picked exactly what her husband had pre picked out, it was perfect. We did half the session inside then headed outside for some fun nature pictures. Every family member was up for anything and it made it all the better! The expressions that were captured, and the joy that is felt when looking through the pictures is everything! The love between the forever bride and groom. The brotherly love between the brothers. The respect the boys showed during the family poses was outstanding...such a great family!
